Administrative InformationĬompleting the administrative information portion of the Preparatory Demolition Checklist serves several purposes. Review each segment to ensure you understand how to use the inspection document. Each component is briefly described below. The Preparatory Demolition Checklist has four primary components. Included In The Demolition Safety Checklist Let’s get started with a document overview. With everyone working from the same training source, you can expect a standardized set of results consistent with your safety program. Using a single training source ensures that your team completes the report correctly and concisely. As a helpful tool, feel free to bookmark this page and use it as a training guide for your team safety personnel. Let’s take a look at what’s included in the checklist. It’s available in two formats, the downloadable PDF or the customizable version found in our inspection and incident reporting app, 1st Reporting. Stay compliant, and more importantly, keep your team safe with safety tools like our Demolition Checklist for preparatory operations. You can download the PDF or customize the digital report in the 1st Reporting mobile application. The Preparatory Demolition Checklist follows best practices for safety and regulatory compliance with OSHA Standard Number 1926.850 for preparatory demolition operations. We couldn’t find a decent one online, so we built our own, and you can download it for use with your company. So, we decided the preparatory process might work best if a regulations-oriented Preparatory Demolition Checklist tool were available. Demolition projects require a copious amount of logistics, paperwork, and red tape. This cookie is set by GDPR Cookie Consent plugin. Versions of infidelity have surrounded the couple since Eduin became known with Grupo Firme They recently boasted photos of their long relationship, but these snapshots no longer appear. “How the gossip pages make me laugh, they say pure bullshit… if I dedicated those awards it’s because I’m doing my little fight, it’s a special achievement for me, I dedicated them to her, I told her ‘I’m always going to love you little girl’, to egg, what can I tell you, they left me, I am doing my fight. The largest jackpot ever won on the California SuperLotto Plus was worth $193 million. This lengthened the odds against winning the top prize but meant that rollovers would generate much bigger jackpots. In 2000, the name of the lottery was changed to California SuperLotto Plus and the format changed from a single drum to its current two-drum set-up. At the same time, a Bonus Ball was introduced, which was drawn from the same ball pool. In 1990, the matrix was changed to require players to match six numbers from a pool of 53 to win the jackpot. Multiple causes including oversensing, wire fracture, lead displacement, or interference.įailure to capture occurs when paced stimulus does not result in myocardial depolarisation. Results in decreased or absent pacemaker function. Output failure occurs when a paced stimulus is not generated in a situation where expected. Reduced pacemaker output / output failure may be seen on ECG monitoring if the patient stimulates their rectus or pectoral muscles (due to oversensing of muscle activity). These inappropriate signals may be large P or T waves, skeletal muscle activity or lead contact problems.Ībnormal signals may not be evident on ECG. Oversensing occurs when electrical signal are inappropriately recognised as native cardiac activity and pacing is inhibited. Left ventricular dysfunction improved significantly during follow-up. Undersensing occurs when the pacemaker fails to sense native cardiac activity.Ĭauses include increased stimulation threshold at electrode site (exit block), poor lead contact, new bundle branch block or programming problems.ĮCG findings may be minimal, although presence of pacing spikes within QRS complexes is suggestive of undersensing. Conclusions: LBBP can be achieved with a high success rate and low capture thresholds. Pacemaker malfunction can occur for a wide variety of reasons, ranging from equipment failure to changes in underlying native rhythm.ĭiagnosis of pacemaker malfunction is challenging and often associated with non-specific clinical symptoms while ECG changes can be subtle or absent. Underlying rhythm left on its own, with a long pause followed by a ventricular escape beat. The ekg strip below shows the first two spikes pacing, then the pacemaker fails to pace. Its absence will result in the underlying rhythm running (if any). It may be the pacemaker battery, the leads or it could be an over sensing problem. In general, you will have no pacing spikes where they need to be. It could be an intermittent problem or failure altogether. There is no particular rhythm to define this. Somehow, the electrodes have no current flowing through them. Spikes are sensing correctly and pace the ventricles.įailure to output (failure to pace) simply means there is no output signal being generated from the pacemaker. (undersensing) shows the first two spikes fire out of place. Sensing issues are identified when there are pacemaker spikes showing up where they do not belong. Which occurs when a foreign signal (non-cardiac) such as a muscle twitch, are mistaken for real cardiac activity. Sensing problems include “undersensing” where the pacemaker fails to sense the native cardiac rhythm. In most cases, sensing problems are less threatening and can be corrected by performing a pacemaker interrogation. The example below shows the first two ventricular paced beats capture, then the next This is identified by having pacing spikes present with no resulting QRS, (capture). Failure to capture is when the pacemaker signal fires but there is no response. Life expectancy at birth for Indigenous males is estimated to be 67 years and for females it is 73 years, representing gaps of 11.5 and 9.7 years, respectively, compared with other Australians (Australian Bureau of Statistics, 2011). Indigenous Australians experience poorer overall health compared with other Australians. The greatest absolute numbers of Indigenous Australians reside in NSW and Queensland (208,476 and 188,954 respectively) while the Northern Territory has the largest proportion with around 30% (68,850) identifying as Indigenous (Australian Bureau of Statistics, 2014). Indigenous Australians represent around 3% of the total Australian population and are a culturally and linguistically diverse population residing across all Australian states and territories and in urban, regional and remote localities. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (respectfully referred to hereafter as Indigenous) women experience significantly poorer breast cancer outcomes than other Australian women (Australian Institute of Health and Welfare and Cancer Australia, 2013). While the recent overall picture of breast cancer survival in Australia is improving, this is not the case for all Australians. Gains in outcomes which are increasingly evident in most developed countries (Coleman et al., 2011b) are attributed to early detection associated with screening and improvements in the management and treatment of the disease (Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, 2012c). While the number of new cases has almost tripled in the last three decades (there were 5,310 new cases in 1982 and 15,166 in 2012) (Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, 2016), mortality is decreasing and survival is improving. One-quarter of hospitalizations that occur for Australian women is attributed to breast cancer and it is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths (Australian Institute of Health and Welfare and National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre, 2009). With increasing emphasis on personalized health care, a clear understanding of breast cancer incidence, survival, mortality, and causal agents within the Indigenous population is required if breast cancer prevention and management is to be optimized for Indigenous Australians.īreast cancer is the second most common carcinoma in Australian females with one in eight women developing the disease (Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, 2012a). Part Two presents the risk factors most strongly associated with breast cancer including age, place of residence, family risk, genetics, reproductive history, tobacco use, alcohol intake, physical activity, participation in screening and breast density. Part One presents a summary of the latest incidence, survival and mortality data. The aim of this two-part narrative review is to examine the available evidence on breast cancer and its risk factors in Australian Indigenous women. Concomitantly there are demographic, socio-economic and lifestyle factors associated with breast cancer risks that are heavily represented within Indigenous communities. For indigenous women there are also more advanced and distant tumours at diagnosis, fewer hospitalisations for breast cancer, and lower participation in breast screening. Despite a lower breast cancer incidence compared with non-indigenous women, fatalities occur at an elevated rate and breast cancers have an earlier age of onset. Cancer is the second largest contributor to the burden of disease with breast cancer being the most common invasive cancer diagnosed for females. The Indigenous people of Australia face significant health gaps compared with the general population, with lower life expectancies, higher rates of death, and chronic illness occurring more often than in non-indigenous Australians. Meanwhile, contour goes just underneath that, in the hollows of your face where you’d naturally get a shadow: the sides of your nose, under your jawline and cheekbones, and top of your forehead. Bronzer is typically placed at the highest point-where the sun hits you the most, like your temples, forehead, cheeks, and across your nose and chin. Similarly, the neutral and cool undertones of a contour stick likely won’t add that bronze-y look to your skin, but can potentially warm up certain undertones (like very-pink skin).Īnother key difference between a contour and bronzer is placement. “Bronzer can technically create dimension on your skin, but it might look too warm and orange-y, depending on your skin tone,” she says. So, bronzers can sometimes be shimmery or have a sheen to give your skin a glow, while contour is usually matte and meant to blend seamlessly into your skin.īut (!) you can contour with a bronzer or bronze with a contour, but you might prefer a different tone for each, says makeup artist Britty Whitfield. Contour, however, is usually cool or neutral, depending on your undertone, because it’s meant to subtly mimic the natural shadows in your face. A bronzer is usually in a warm tone because you’re adding a luminous glow back into your face-think ~sun-kissed~ and glowy. The difference between bronzer and contour is that bronzer warms up your face, while contour creates shadows. Whether that be having symmetrical brows (is it just me or does one seem to always come out better than the other?) or a perfectly winged eyeliner job, you just can't seem to get it right. When it comes to doing a full face of makeup, we all have that one step that doesn't always work out the way we want. Who else was bugged by this? Anyone else have other pet peeves with the costumes? I didn't even get into the hair.Īs a lover of historical fashion and trends, I definitely know how you feel. Take Penelope in this one where the waistline clearly slopes up in the front, and this one on Daphne which seems to be doing the same thing. The busts especially just looked horribly fitted on so many of the women, with awful darts or looks that seemed to cut them off mid-boob rather than below the chest. The fit of the dresses bugs me even more, though, because that's not about historical accuracy at all but just the aesthetic choices made. Ouch! It makes no sense (not to mention eventually those sores will seep through the fabric and leave blood on your gown, right?). Additionally we see one character with marks from her stays, because she's not wearing a chemise. We see a character getting tight-laced, but it has zero bearing on how her dress fits. Now, the undergarments is a historical accuracy thing, but it's also a practical thing that made no sense in the fantasy world we were shown. The two things things I found most egregious with regards to the costumes were the undergarments (or lack thereof) and the fit of the women's gowns. I know not everyone does, so feel free to completely disregard if it's not your cup of tea. I do like to compare/contrast the historical accuracy even when I know the costume designer or director made a specific choice not to follow it, though, just because I find it fun. At the end of the day, they are costumes and not recreations. While I think making things look historically accurate can certainly add a lot of value to a production, I also understand that there are artistic as well as practical choices to be made when it comes to costume designs. First off, I want to say that I am not a stickler for historical accuracy in every single production. |
